Richard currently serves as a member of Cultivation Capital Life Sciences II fund investment committee.
Chief Growth Officer
Brings health tech product management and commercialization leadership to the revenue and market growth strategy. Prior to joining NVI, Scott held Chief Product Officer and VP Sales roles, specializing in medical imaging and establishing key product development and distribution agreements with leading health tech companies including Fuji, GE, Siemens, Medtronic, and Boston Scientific.
Director of Product Strategy and Operations
Attained a PhD in Neuroimaging with an interest in human centred design and development of medical imaging technologies. He leverages his experiences in academia and collegiate/professional sport to lead the product strategy and business development at Circle NVI.
Director of Product Management
Attained an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, with experience leading Agile Product Teams to deliver a range of health technologies, such as mobile and zero-footprint solutions for multinational healthcare companies including GE, Siemens, and Fujifilm.
Technical Solutions Manager
Worked with leading stroke research groups worldwide, to provide IT operations management for multiple international clinical research trials and registries. He brings his expertise in medical imaging and clinical data capture to deploying and supporting technical solutions at Circle NVI.
Circle NVI Co-Founder and CEO at Circle Cardiovascular Inc. Previously, he was the co-founder and President of Conceptis Technologies Inc., a leading medical media and education company whose main asset was theheart.org.
Co-founded Yaletown in 2001 and has over 20 years of experience in Canadian venture and private equity investing. He manages Yaletown’s emerging growth investments and serves on the Boards of Circle Cardiovascular Imaging and ePACT Network
Dr. Bijoy Menon
Circle NVI Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Menon is an associate Professor of Neurology, Radiology and Community Health Sciences with the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. Dr Menon’s primary research interest is in developing easy to use imaging tools, which aid patient treatment decisions within acute ischemic stroke.
Dr. Michael Hill
Circle NVI Co-Founder and Professor of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences and Director of the stroke unit for the Calgary Stroke Programme. Dr Hill is a global leader in acute stroke clinical research trials and at the forefront of developing the science to evolve stroke care.
Hannah Mamuszka is Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Alva10, which she founded in 2015 to spur change in healthcare to allow more patients better access to diagnostic technology. Hannah’s career has spanned the laboratory and business sides of healthcare in both the pharma and diagnostics industries. Prior to her time in diagnostics, she worked on the IND submission for Velcade™ at Millennium Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Takeda). She started her laboratory career at the National Institutes of Health. Hannah is on the editorial board for the Journal of Precision Medicine. Hannah serves on the Board of Directors for Bionano Genomics (BNGO), Circle Cardiovascular, and the University of North Carolina (UNC) Health Informatics Program (CHIP).
Dr. Andrew Demchuk
Circle NVI co-founder, Dr Demchuk is the director of the Calgary stroke programme located at the Foothills Medical Centre. He also hold the Heart and Stroke Foundation chair in Stroke Research. He is Professor within the departments of Clinical Neurosciences and Radiology at the University of Calgary. He is Deputy Department Head, Department of Clinical Neurosciences and Deputy Chair of the Canadian Stroke Consortium.
Dr. Mayank Goyal
Clinical Professor of Radiology and Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary. Dr Goyal is well recognized for his leadership in acute stroke trials, innovative imaging techniques, improving stroke workflow and neuro interventional techniques.
